Samsung Unveils Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 3.6 At IFA 2011

Samsung is all set to introduce a new portable media player called the Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 3.6 in the market. The announcement comes early this week at Berlin's IFA 2011.
The Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 3.6 does not fall in the smartphone or tablet category just like the iPod touch. This is because although it offers apps and multimedia capabilities of a smartphone, it does not have the phone call making capability.
The Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 3.6 is an Android OS powered device that comprises a 3.6″ 480×800 resolution display, a 1GHz TI OMAP processor, a front-facing VGA camera and a rear-facing 3-megapixel camera.
Two models of the Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 3.6 are in the offering and will first be up for sale in the UK. The 8 GB model will cost USD 242, while the 16 GB model will cost USD 274 in the UK. Information on pricing and availability of this WiFi- only portable media player is not out in the US yet.
