A Day in the Life of Marc LeFevre

The Worcester Telegram's Lisa Eckelbecker has a wonderful article today looking at the life of Marc LeFevre, who spends three weeks a month driving the roads of central New England in a white Chevy Trailblazer loaded with two laptops and numerous cell phones and PC cards, all to test Verizon Wireless' network.
"You've got to like driving," LeFevre says. "If you don't like driving, this isn't the job for you."
"All of the wireless carriers run similar operations, sending workers to drive densely populated urban areas as well as quiet rural counties in remote corners of New England," Eckelbecker writes. "Landscapes change, equipment deteriorates and customer demands rise and fall, making it necessary for the carriers to constantly test their networks."
