Following up on his recent discovery of an epidemic of Wi-Fi ignorance in London pubs, silicon.com's Will Sturgeon has found that many British Wi-Fi users see the pub as an ideal Wi-Fi access location.
"An impressive 35 per cent of respondents to a recent poll run on silicon.com said the pub would be the hotspot location where they thought they would be able to work best, given a choice which also included coffee shops, fast food restaurants, train stations, airports and open spaces and parks," Sturgeon writes.
"Least popular was the option of logging on in a fast food restaurant, which didn't receive a single vote from the 200 respondents."
A pint and a laptop? Makes much more sense than barbequed ribs and a laptop... and sounds like a nice afternoon to me!
