American Airlines to Filter In-Flight Wi-Fi For Porn

American Airlines this week said it plans to filter its Gogo in-flight Wi-Fi service for porn.
"In a statement it put out early Tuesday evening, the carrier said it made the decision 'based on the feedback of our customers and employees,'" writes the WSJ's Matt Phillips. "American launched an in-flight Web service called Gogo - which is provided by Aircell - on three routes Aug. 20 ... American had previously said that it expected flight attendants to deal with situations in which passengers were perusing inappropriate Web content."
"The company contends that despite the move, it has not experienced any reported incidents of customers viewing inappropriate content via its Internet service," writes The Inquisitr's Dominic Rivera. "I don't believe them. Someone must have tried looking at one. Really. There must be someone. You?"
"I guess you'll have to 'pack in' your own stuff and not rely on the bounty of the Internet," writes CrunchGear's Devin Coldewey. "You filthy animal."
