Anticipating CTIA Wireless 2007

InformationWeek's Stephen Wellman and Forbes' Dan Frommer both have articles today anticipating tomorrow's launch of CTIA Wireless 2007 in Orlando, Florida.
Wellman's big topics to look forward to are the Apple iPhone, mobile video and mobile business. "I suspect we'll see more enthusiasm for mobile business in the U.S. as the year progresses, especially as cheaper push e-mail solutions go mainstream," he writes. "If Motorola or Nokia acquires Palm, this could be the catalyst for the North American market."
Frommer mostly agrees: key topics are WiMax, the iPhone, mobile music and mobile video. "Also expect to see more companies pledging to bring popular social parts of the Web -- blogging, social networking, photo sharing, social bookmarking -- to mobile screens too," he writes.
