AT&T Homezone Adds Remote Control by Cell Phone

The AP's Michelle Roberts reports today that AT&T is now giving its Homezone customers the ability to control their DVRs through their cell phones.

"The interface allows cell phone users to remotely schedule or delete recordings from their set-top boxes connected to satellite television service," Robertslinks writes.

As inteller says at Broadband Reports, "I can see people trying to see schedules and plinking around trying to set a recording using their small cell phone screen. Not pretty..."

More here from Wireless Week ... and AT&T's press release is here.
