TeleClick reports that the editors of Laptop Magazine are calling Bonfire Media's eBay Wireless Premium "one of the best ever mobile extensions of a web service."

"Its user-friendly interface, quick access to product information, and streamlined bidding process have won it plenty of good reviews," the TeleClick article states. "The service is available for most major U.S. carriers, and allows users to receive SMS alerts regarding the status of an auction, as well as view images, payment terms, and submit bids on a moment's notice."

The Laptop Magazine review warns, "The only downside we can see to this exceptional application is that it may tempt you to use eBay more than you should."

The application is currently available for Sprint, Verizon, Cingular and alltel at $3.99 a month.
