BT Openzone has announced that it will be ending its roaming agreement with fellow UK Wi-Fi provider The Cloud as of 9am on October 2nd.
"The deal's expiry could drastically cut the number of hotspots BT Openzone customers can use, particularly in business-centric areas - The Cloud has 6,500 live Wi-Fi hotspots in retail venues, hotels, airports and sports and music venues, while BT has only 3,000 Openzone hotspots," writes ZDNet's David Meyer.
"The Cloud has announced it will give BT Openzone customers 30 days of free Wi-Fi access if they take out a subscription with them," notes PC Advisor's Carrie-Ann Skinner.

So how does this affect people on the iphone? I get free internet access wherever there is the cloud or BT openzone - but with this deal - will this change?
