Buffalo’s Draft-802.11n Nfiniti Coming to the U.K.
TechDigest looks at news that Buffalo Technology's new draft-N offering, the AirStation Nfiniti, will be coming to the U.K. in a matter of weeks.
"Draft-N standard is pretty exciting for us because the greater transfer rates mean that wireless transmission of high definition signals – perhaps from IPTV – would be made much more possible," the article states.
"The companies we've asked about this all seem to be pretty certain that the new standard is paving the way for a lot more wireless transmission of entertainment media about the home and High Definition is sure to play a part in that someday."
The Nfiniti router will be priced at £110, with the CardBus adapter and PCI adapter at £85. No word, unfortunately, on when these products might come to the U.S.
