Cellular-News.com reports that Ceragon Networks has received a $2 million order from CellularOne for equipment to support CellularOne's ongoing wireless network expansion. This is Phase II of a network deployment that was started using Ceragon's FibeAir 1500P and FibeAir 4800 series radios.
"The enhanced network based on FibeAir will allow many Native Americans living on reservations in Arizona and New mexico
to benefit from mobile and broadband Internet services," the article states. "CellularOne serves a subscriber base of more than 74,000 customers in its combined Arizona and New Mexico markets."
"We are very satisfied with Ceragon's FibeAir products for cellular backhaul and broadband access that have been successfully implemented in Phase I of our network build out," says CellularOne COO Richard Watkins. "We look forward to initiating the second phase of this project."
