Creative GigaWorks ProGamer G550W 5.1 Wireless Speaker System
Stuff Magazine's Mark Wilson looks at the Creative GigaWorks ProGamer G550W 5.1, an impressive wireless speaker system for watching movies on your television and playing games on your PC — or vice versa.
The G550W's on-board Wi-Fi allows you to place rear speakers up to 30 feet away from the central console.
"The front speakers and 130-watt subwoofer will need to be plugged into the system, but you can forgive them their tethers as they'll be neatly stacked in the corner with your TV," Wilson writes. "According to Creative, the 2.4GHz wireless tech has been designed to be immune from mobile phone interference, and the system's total power output is an impressive 310 watts."
The Creative GigaWorks ProGamer G550W 5.1 is available now in the U.S. for about $450.
