Tech Digest looks at D-Link's new Securicam DCS-2120 wireless Internet camera, which provides access to live video and audio over a 3G mobile phone or PDA.
"Complete with CPU and web server, the DCS-2120 camera... features a low light sensitive lens ideal for night-time use, 4x digital zoom capability and a built-in 802.11g wireless network interface," the article states. "It also comes with surveillance management software that can control up to sixteen cameras viewable from a single screen."
The DCS-2120 also includes motion
detection, offering the option of allowing recording to occur only when motion is detected or a recording has been pre-scheduled.
It's available now, with a purchase price of $349.99 in the U.S. or £180 in the U.K.
