Eye-Fi Introduces 2GB Wi-Fi SD Memory Card

Eye-Fi Inc. today introduced the Eye-Fi Card, the world's first Wi-Fi SD memory card for digital cameras.
"Digital cameras have made it extremely easy to take pictures, but the rest of the process is a hassle," says company CEO Jef Holove. "The Eye-Fi Card removes the barriers and lets users get to the fun part of sharing and printing their memories. We're putting the magic back into photography."
Photos can be uploaded over Wi-Fi directly to one of 17 online photo services that have partnered with Eye-Fi – and can also be downloaded directly to a PC or Mac over a home Wi-Fi network. A 2GB card costs $100.
