Eye-Film: Every Digital Camera Goes Wi-Fi
Filed in archive Wi-Fi on May 1, 2006

TechCrunch's Michael Arrington takes a look at Eye-Fi's planned Eye-Film 1GB Wi-Fi SD card, which includes a Wi-Fi antenna within the card itself. "No guidance on when this will be available, but they have working prototypes," Arrington writes.
Laughing Squid's Scott Beale (who took the photo of the prototype) says the company's also working on a Compact Flash version of the Eye-Film card. "The idea is that the photos will be uploaded to a central server that then hooks into your favorite photo service, like Flickr, etc.," Beale writes.
More on this from Robert Scoble, here and here.
