The Houston Chronicle reports that FierceWireless has announced the recipients of its annual Fierce 15 Awards.

The awards are given based on the quality of a company's products and services, the strength of its management team, and the company's potential for new partnerships, venture capital rounds and IPOs.

"These companies are driving the future of wireless in ways that will have a profound impact on not just the wireless industry, but on the daily lives of people all over the world," says Lynnette Luna, the site's Executive Editor.
