Monsters and Critics' Stevie Smith reports today that FON has announced a partnership with French ISP Neuf Cegetel to "see FON's software integrated into all of the French Internet service provider
's Neuf boxes."
"The completely free 'Neuf WiFi FON' service, which will be officially launched in September, will enable all Neuf Cegetel's subscribers equipped with a Wi-Fi Neuf Box to become part of the expanding FON community and 'start sharing some of their Internet connection with the WiFi Community,'" Smith writes. In turn, Neuf WiFi FON users will get free access to every 'FON Spot' Wi-Fi access point worldwide.
It's very similar to a deal FON announced in April with Time Warner Cable in the U.S.
