Google today officially launched the mobile version of its AdWords service - as Search Engine Land's Greg Sterling explains, "Google is no longer setting up mobile as a separate ad 'product.' Rather, it's treating mobile distribution as an extension of Internet AdWords."
Mike Blumenthal posted a copy of an email from Google explaining the plan, which notes, "We are offering this feature - and any resulting clicks - for
free through November 18, so you can experiment with the rapidly
growing mobile platform while still reaching qualified customers."
Got that? Free mobile AdWords through November 18... after that, prepare to go broke...
