TmoNews today broke the news that the first Android phone, the htc dream (codenamed the G1), will arrive via T-Mobile in September, priced at $399 - or $150 during a one-week pre-sale period starting September 17th.
"You may have to be an existing customer to get in on the mid-September pre-sale, so my patience with staying with T-Mobile for the last 6 years and waiting for their 3G network may finally pay off," writes ZDNet's Matthew Miller.
"The newest leaked features include a 3-megapixel camera, slide-out QWERTY keypad, and three color varieties: black, white and brown," adds MobileCrunch's Teresa von Fuchs.

I've been waiting a long time myself for a cool phone from T-Mobile. Let just hope their 3G network works.
