Intel and Comstar this week announced plans to work together on a nationwide mobile WiMax network in Russia, starting with a citywide network in Moscow planned for launch in late 2008.
"Participation in the project has been divided in the following way: intel will get engaged in development and manufacturing platforms, and laptops promotion on the Russian market, while Comstar will be responsible for investment, marketing campaigns and negotiations in the regions regarding the network expansion," according to CNews.
