Reg Hardware's Tony Smith today looks at Sony's first Wi-Fi camera, the six-megapixel Sony Cyber-shot DSC-G1 with built-in 802.11b/g Wi-Fi.
The camera boasts a 3.5-inch LCD screen, 2 GB of on-board memory, and a Zeiss 3x optical zoom lens.
"G1s can talk to each other by Wi-Fi, allowing users to share shots with each other," Smith writes. "One camera can even display and store pictures another one is taking. Sony said the G1 is compatible with the DNLA (Digital Living Network Alliance) protocol to allow the camera to talk to wireless TVs and other display devices."
The camera will be available next month for a retail price of $600.
