LG's Vu Plus Television Phone Coming to AT&T
Filed in archive Emerging Tech on May 24, 2010

AT&T has announced plans to launch the LG Vu Plus, a television-capable phone with a touch screen display and slide-out keyboard, starting on June 6 for $150 with a two-year contract.
LG says the Vu Plus will run on AT&T's speedy HSPDA 3G network for fast Web browsing, social networking and access to full-length live shows and time-shifted programming with AT&T Mobile TV.
Perhaps the handset's biggest draw is its mobile television capabilities: For $10 a month, customers can watch shows from 15 popular channels such as Comedy Central, ESPN Mobile TV, MTV, CNN Mobile and Disney Mobile.
Additional features include 3.0-inch touch screen display with vibration feedback, a four-line QWERTY keyboard and an integrated 3.0-megapixel auto-focus camera while AT&T Navigator gives turn-by-turn voice and on-screen driving directions, automatic rerouting and real-time traffic monitoring.
