At Wireless Week, Susan Rush reports that Microsoft's MSN may be interested in acquiring wireless advertising company Third Screen Media.
"We're a happy, healthy, well-funded company in the midst of an extremely exciting market with huge opportunity," says Third Screen Media's Jeff Janer. "We're out talking to a lot of people about business opportunities and partnerships, so I guess it's to be expected that there will be rumors but at this point it's all speculative."
Third Screen Media's technology would help MSN provide advertising on the wireless Web. In January, the company released MADX|Publisher, a Web-based mobile advertising solution for publishers -- which MSN is using.
