A recent study funded by the Mobile Manufacturers Forum (MMF) and conducted by researchers at Sweden's Karolinska Institute and Wayne State University in Detroit has found that cell phone radiation can cause insomnia.
According to USA Today's Michael Winter, the researchers found that mobile phone use may cause changes in the areas of the brain that are related to handling stress, and that "radio-frequency radiation may also disrupt production of melatonin."
"It may also cut our amount of deep sleep - interfering with the body's ability to refresh itself," notes BBC News.More here from Sky News ... more here from AFP ... more here from SiliconRepublic.com ... and more here from The Independent.
