Motorola Sues Former Exec

Motorola is suing a former executive who now works for Apple, accusing him of disclosing trade secrets.
"Michael Fenger in March ended an almost six-year career at Motorola where he was a vice president for the company's mobile- device business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa," writes Bloomberg's Andrew Harris. "He is now Apple's vice president for global iPhone sales, according to a complaint filed yesterday in state court in Chicago."
"In addition to damages (which Motorola is seeking due to a breach of written contract... stating that Fenger is not to be employed by a competing company for at least two years from March 31st) the company hopes to recover over $1 millon in stock-option grants," according to Electronista.
"Perhaps Motorola is just plain bitter about the iPhone's success and how it's affecting their current mobile market," suggests G4's John Manalang...
