Motorola’s RAZR 2 V9m Coming to… Everyone!

Motorola today announced the imminent launch of the RAZR 2 V9m on Alltel, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular and Verizon Wireless, all within the next few weeks.
"Thanks to EV-DO, attractive styling (yes, we realize we'll be really tired of it in a couple years, but it's still hot for now), and a gargantuan external display with touch controls, the phone is being positioned on the higher end of both carriers' dumbphone offerings," writes Engadget's Chris Ziegler.
SFGate's Ryan Kim says it's a nice toy. "The phone is sleeker and better made than its predecessor with a shiny stainless steel shell and full glass displays," he writes. "It sports a huge external display, 2 megapixel camera, 3G data speed access, GPS and even some touch-screen buttons on the outside with some vibration feedback to boot."
"The big question that remains is whether the RAZR 2 will be enough to bring Motorola back into black," notes BetaNews' Nate Mook. "Increasing competition from Nokia, Samsung, LG and now Apple have reversed Motorola's position as market leader when it comes to style and technology."
