Canada's Rogers Wireless today announced a partnership with MySpace to offer a wireless service called MySpace Mobile.
The timing is no coincidence, according to rogers wireless chief marketing officer John Boynton. "Back-to-school is a very busy social scene,
and with MySpace Mobile on wireless phones, customers have even more ways to stay in touch," he says.
The service will enable a wide range of MySpace features while on the move, including blogging, managing friends, sending messages and more.
According to mocoNews' Ingrid Lunden, the service will cost $5 Canadian per month, although anyone who signs up before October 31st will get six months free.
And Marketnews.ca's Christine Persaud reports that the service is currently limited to the following phones: Sony Ericsson W810i and W580i; the Samsung A516 and A706; and the LG TU500.
