New HTC Touchscreen Comes to T-Mobile
Filed in archive Mobile on March 19, 2010

While we tend to get caught up in the hype surrounding the Apple iPhone and Google NexusOne, some well spec'ed smartphones have been steadily sneaking quietly into the scene. To that end it appears as though T-Mobile is going to be the recipient of the latest touchscreen handset from HTC.
Calling it the HD2, the new phone will feature such goodies as a high-resolution 4.3-inch capacitive touch screen display, Qualcomm's new 1GHz Snapdragon mobile processor for improved application speeds, "MyPhone" backup service and access to applications and games through Windows Marketplace for Mobile.
Additionally, the handset will come equipped with a 5.0-megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi and access to social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter.
While the hot topic of late may be Windows Mobile 7.0, the March 24 release date of the HD2 assures a Windows Mobile 6.5 preinstall. The MSRP is $199 with contract.
