Nintendo DS Adds Two More Wireless Games

Bytesector.com picks up on the news that the Wi-Fi-enabled Nintendo DS is adding two new games — the classic Tetris DS, and Metroid Prime Hunters, the company's first shooter for the DS. Both games launch this week for wireless play over the Nintendo Wi-Fi network, which now boasts more than a million users.
"These two games really showcase the range of abilities of the world's favorite new portable game system," says Ron Bertram, Nintendo of Canada's Vice President and General Manager. "They will further help drive Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection as the hottest Wi-Fi format ever introduced to games."
Metroid Prime Hunters uses Wi-Fi to allow players to hunt each other online, with added features including real-time voice chat. And Tetris DS includes six retro themes based on famous Nintendo games, many of which make use of the Nintendo DS touch screen.
