Nintendo DS to Offer Classic Games over Wi-Fi
July 27, 2006

Nintendojo's Dave Magliano reports that Nintendo today announced the release of 42 All-Time Classics for Nintendo DS, a collection of 42 classic parlor, bar and table games that use the touch screen for control and can be set up as multiplayer games over Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.
The games, Magliano says, include bridge, backgammon, Billiards, bowling, chess, poker and darts, among others. During multiplayer gaming, PictoChat allows players to send messages to each other while playing — and, the company suggests, to lie about the cards they're holding.
The software will be released in Europe on September 29th for £20/€30, with a U.S. release expected later in the year.
