Nokia Launches E51, Focuses on Mobile Unified Communications

Today in London, nokia launched the dual-mode GSM/Wi-Fi Nokia E51 smartphone - and used the launch to stress Nokia's mobile unified communications strategy.

"We see a significant opportunity to fill the 'mobility gap,' enabling business users to collaborate, communicate, and operate from anywhere, easily and affordably," said Nokia's Antti Vasara at the launch.

"Whereas companies have invested significantly in information technology and traditional unified communications, Nokia is now delivering solutions that extend those investments by bringing mobility to unified communications."
