TechDigest's Ashleyn reports that Nokia has introduced its next-generation N800 Internet tablet at CES.
"The successor to the 770 isn't quite the major overhaul we were expecting, but it does have some decent new features and Nokia has certainly smartened up the design," she writes. "Instead of the rather sober black finish of the 770, the N800 is a much more funky silver chrome. "
The basics are the same as the 770, she writes, but the N800 does boast an improved full-screen qwerty keyboard -- and for UK users, "as a rather good incentive to get one, Nokia has teamed up with UK Wi-Fi provider The Cloud to offer as month's worth of free wireless web access to N800 owners."
The N800 is available now for $399.
