NU's Waterproof and Wireless TV

Mobilised takes a look at (and covets) the NU Wireless Displayer, a waterproof and wireless (and pricey) 15.4-inch portable television.

It's called a displayer rather than a TV because it has its own transmitter, allowing you to send any kind of multimedia content you like from any device (DVD player, set-top box, etc.) to the displayer, then watch that content anywhere around the house -- kitchen, backyard, swimming pool or bathtublinks (hence the waterproof part).

The system uses 802.11g to transmit between the transmitter and the displayer, with a range of up to 30 meters. It's available now in Australia for AU$1,700 (about US$1,275).
