Oops! Wi-Fi Brings Google to Its Knees

InternetNews' David Needle reports that Google recently provided Wi-Fi in a lecture hall for a presentation to the media -- or at least they tried to.

"There was supposed to be Wi-Fi," needlelinks writes. "Technical glitches prevented that."

"We apologize. We certainly didn't do this on purpose," said Elliot Shrage, Google's Vice President of Global Communications.

As Needle points out, that's more than a little embarrassing for the company that was recently awarded the contract to unwire the city of San Francisco...
