UK operator Orange this week announced an agreement with The Cloud to give Orange customers access to The Cloud's UK Wi-Fi hotspot network.
Orange already has Wi-Fi agreements with BT OpenZone, France Telecom and WeRoam - this agreement extends Orange's Wi-Fi network to more than 10,000 hotspots.
"The deal will bring 250 free Wi-Fi minutes per month to those who use Orange's Business Everywhere mobile data cards," writes Tech.co.uk's Anna Lagerkvist. "These offer connectivity through a variety of technologies including Wi-Fi, HSDPA, 3G, EDGE and GPRS. The free Wi-Fi minutes will be bundled into their existing monthly deal, with any exceeding minutes being charged at 8p."
