Palm Eos Coming to AT&T Wireless

"The device is a bar-style phone similar to a BlackBerry," writes InformationWeek's Eric Zeman. "It has a full QWERTY keyboard, trackball for navigation, and measures a mere 10.6mm thick. The Eos' screen is 2.63 inches diagonally, compared to the Pre's 3.1 inch screen and the iPhone's 3.5 incher. Palm also had to cut some pixels, the Eos is purported to be 320×400 instead of 320×480. The good news on that front is that we are more than confident that the webOS has the flexibility to handle pretty much any screen size you can throw at it because so much of it is based on web technologies…"
