Pandora Brings its Service to the Apple iPad

When you think of advertising outlets, television, radio or even your favorite Internet site come to mind.. However, the iPad could very well be added to this list and according to Pandora, their unique advertising solutions draw from its multi-platform presence – now including the iPad – and ability to hyper-target consumers by gender, age, location, the type of music they like, and time of day.

Advertisers on Pandora can stream video, audio, direct response or experiential creative to a specific set of consumers anytime, anywhere: on their computers at the office, home, on their smart-phones, and now, on their iPad.

So does Pandora have a platform strong enough to recruit the heavy hitters? It would certainly seem so based on their early adopters: Starbucks, Lexus, and Budweiser are the first brands to get onboard with the Pandora iPad advertising platform.

More than 50-million people in the U.S. turn on Pandora to hear music they love and if this advertising model continues to gain popularity, one day billions of people worldwide will be able to do the same.
