Filed in archive Mobile by jeff goldman on August 6, 2007

On Friday, People for the American Way (PFAW) joined the MVNO craze by launching Democracy Wireless, a mobile phone service powered by Working Assets (over Sprint's network), through which every call you make generates a donation to PFAW. The service also includes 30 free minutes a month in calls to the White House or members of Congress.
"We all need phones - Working Assets and Democracy Wireless can make every call count," says PFAW president Ralph G. Neas.
