Review: BodyGuardz Protective Skin for iPhone 3G

The folks at NLU Products were kind enough to send us a sample of the BodyGuardz Protective Skin for the iPhone 3G for review. It's an extremely impressive product.
The application process is similar to most screen protectors, with one crucial difference: unlike many skins, you don't have to put it on perfectly the first time. The box contains a spray bottle of solution that you apply to your hands and to the film itself, allowing you to reposition the skin as needed immediately after application (until it dries, essentially). For something as detailed as this, that's crucial – and it works perfectly.
And the result is phenomenal. The clear, lightweight skin covers the front and back of the device, leaving the iPhone looking and feeling just as it did before – but now it's thoroughly protected.
I've had my iPhone 3G for about four months (prior to testing the BodyGuarz product), and the unprotected back is already covered with scratches. I wish I'd had a BodyGuardz skin on it from the beginning: it would still be as good as new…
You can buy the BodyGuardz directly from NLU Products for $24.95, including two skins each for the front and back of the device.
