MobileBurn's Brad Kellett reports that Nokia's new E62 has launched with the Canadian operator Rogers Wireless, despite rumors that the first North American carrier to offer the device would be Cingular.
"The Nokia E62 is almost identical to the Nokia E61, with the exception that the E62 loses Wi-Fi and UMTS connectivity," Kellett writes. "Other specifications are identical, including a 16 million color 320x240 pixel resolution screen, Bluetooth, and miniSD memory expansion. Rogers Wireless is now offering the Nokia E62 for US$249.99 with a three-year service contract, CA$399.99 with a two-year contract, or CA$449.99 with a one-year contract."
I'll be looking forward to the U.S. launch -- this is one cool toy.
