Sony Ericsson's New PC300 Supports HSDPA, UMTS, EDGE & GPRS

Engadget's Thomas Ricker reports that Sony Ericsson's new PC300 Mobile Broadband PC Card supports HSDPA, UMTS, EDGE and GPRS at speeds up to 3.6 Mbps
. It automatically hands off between networks, and it's compatible with both Mac and PC.
The PC300 is expected by the third quarter of this year.
And as Ricker notes, there's even an added bonus: "Fortunately, the antenna is integrated -- a nice touch if you've ever snapped one off while puttering about staring at your laptop's screen," he writes.
"You no longer have to put up with slower speeds from your broadband connection just because you're away from the office or home," says Sony Ericsson's Johan Tysklind. "There's hardly anywhere in the world that doesn't have coverage for one of these four generations of wireless technology, so you'll always find a connection."
