Sprint About to Receive Two new Blackberries

Sprint, in effort to make up ground on domestic carriers AT&T and Verizon wireless will soon benefit from two more BlackBerry models to its product lineup. One of them is will be a second-generation Tour, while the other will be the Pearl Flip.

The new Tour (9650) will physically resemble the last generation Tour models but with a an optical trackpad for navigation rather than a trackball. Additional features include an HVGA display, full-QWERTY keyboard, mobile broadband, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 3.2 MP camera, microSD slot and a GPS receiver.

On the other side appears the BlackBerry 8230, which is the designation for the Pearl Flip; RIM's lone clamshell design. While specs on the Pearl heading to Sprint aren't clear, the current 8230 (Verizon) boasts a QVGA display and a SureType keyboard. It also sports 3G mobile broadband capbilities, Bluetooth, GPS and a microSD memory card slot.
