Wi-Fi Networking News' Glenn Fleishman has a full review at Macworld of the new 802.11n AirPort Extreme Base Station -- and he likes it.
"I was able to see consistently high speeds in testing, in excess of 90 Mbps in a single direction over 802.11n to Ethernet (flooding packets
from N to Ethernet), and about 50 Mbps when flooding from N to N via the base station," he writes.
Fleishman's conclusion? "Apple's new AirPort Extreme Base Station may have been a long time coming, but it's worth the wait for anyone whose network needs either greater speed or longer distance," he writes. "While cheaper 802.11n gateways are already on the market, none matches Apple's for features or ease of setup."
