RFID

Dutch designer Jelte van Geest has created an RFID-enabled chair that follows you wherever you go. Designed for libraries, the chair follows anyone carrying a matching RFID library card. Check out this video for a demo of the device.
"It's fantastic," writes Gizmodo's Jason Chen. "What you do is swipe your RFID-enabled library card in front of the chair's sensor, which then follows you (or your card) around the library so you always have somewhere to sit. Once you cross a line near the checkout counter, the chair returns back to its docking station to re-juice and get ready for the next guy's ass..."

Brilliant! But it's wasted on libraries.. how about a commode version that always follows you around the pub?
