The New York Times' Sam Dillon reports on an Arizona school district that uses Autonet Mobile routers to provide students with Wi-Fi Internet access in school buses.

"The students call it the Internet Bus, and what began as a high-tech experiment has had an old-fashioned — and unexpected — result," Dillon writes. "Wi-Fi access has transformed what was often a boisterous bus ride into a rolling study hall, and behavioral problems have virtually disappeared."

"This is the kind of technology coverage I'd like to see more of, showing how a couple separate pieces of tech when combined produce a big change in people's lives," writes Wi-Fi Net News' Glenn Fleishman.

"Let's keep the Internet bus rolling," agrees The Huffington Post's Tom Matzzie.

It’s interesting to see how access to technology quiets normally noisy children!
