Much buzz online this week about T-Mobile's planned 'private launch event' on April 21st for the introduction of... something.
"It's obvious that the US carrier will announce something during this event, and it's likely for that something to be the new Android-powered G2," writes ilinca at Unwired View.
"Our money is on the successor to the T-Mobile G1," agrees Gizmodo's John Mahoney.
"There's also the possibility that T-Mobile is preparing to launch the just-spotted 3G Sidekick in the US," writes IntoMobile's Will Park. "The upcoming Sidekick will finally bring Hiptop fans into the 3G age with support for 3G connectivity on T-Mobile's still-developing 3G network."
