Verizon Wireless today introduced the shiny 'n sleek new Verizon Wireless Gleam by Samsung, a slim clamshell phone with what the company describes as "a new living wallpaper user interface." The phone costs $150 with a two-year contract, after a $50 mail-in rebate.
What exactly is living wallpaper? According to InformationWeek's Elena Malykhina, it "displays a picture of a city or country that changes with the time of day." Makes sense...
And according to Gizmodo's Adam Frucci, "One unique feature it has is Night Shot, allowing you to take pictures at night without a flash that'll look like Paris Hilton's sex tape."
More here from Gizmodo ... more here from Crave ... more here from I4U News ... and the press release is here.
