Wi-Fi Networking News' Glenn Fleishman today picks up on an article from the Sofia News Agency saying Martin Zaimov, who's running as the right-wing candidate for mayor of Sofia, Bulgaria, is promising free Wi-Fi citywide if he wins.
"Within months, there could be at least 100 places in Sofia with Wi-Fi Internet connection," Zaimov says.
"There are 400,000 Internet users in Sofia, the article states," Fleishman writes. "Isn't that a form of vote buying?"
Zaimov is the mayoral nominee for Bulgaria's Union of Democratic Forces (UDF) and Democrats for a Strong Bulgaria (DSB) parties.
