Filed in archive Wi-Fi by jeff goldman on May 2, 2007

India Times' Rashmi Pratap reports that Videsh Sanchar Nigam (VSNL) has announced plans to offer Wi-Fi roaming services in 26 countries.
VSNL has already formed an alliance with Singapore's StarHub, and is planning to sign similar agreements with 25 other members of the Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA).
"These agreements will enable subscribers to use wireless broadband
in the US, UK, France, Italy among other countries," Pratap writes. "VSNL, the only Indian member of WBA, is the first Indian service provider to enter in to a wireless broadband roaming alliance with an international operator."
