Emerging Tech

Televisionpoint.com today picks up on the recent announcement that Wi-Fi TV Inc. is offering a new distribution platform called InterSat, which uses both satellite and Internet delivery technologies in tandem. The idea is to make content accessible on as wide a range of devices as possible.
To clarify: they're not talking about this kind of Wi-Fi TV -- it's more about making television, movies and similar content easily accessible over the Internet, regardless of how (and where) you choose to get online.
Not to get too picky, but Wi-Fi's gonna be a pretty outdated technology by the time this offering really becomes viable -- is it too late to change the company name to WiMAX TV?
