Xbox 360's New Wireless Toys 'Worth Peeing Yourself Over'...

The AP's Matt Slagle reports that Microsoft is adding a bunch of wireless toys to its Xbox 360 system in time for Christmas.

At the Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany this week, the company announced a wireless racing wheel, a wireless headset and a wireless gaming receiver.

"Coming in November is the Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel," Slagle writes. "Designed for racing games, the $149.99 controller will include force feedback to simulate bumpy roads. By the end of the year, the company also plans to sell a $59.99 wireless headset for voice chatting and a $19.99 wireless receiver so consumers can use the devices to play games on their Windows-based computers."

The announcement is clearly timed to counteract the buzz around the upcoming Sony PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii.

Gizmodo says it's the wireless headset that's the "peripheral worthy of peeing yourself over. Finally Microsoft has released a truly wireless headset to match all of the other wireless peripherals of the Xbox 360."

Microsoft's press release is here.
